The most established Eyecare Practice in the Delaware area with 14 doctors, is now looking for an experienced “Practice Administrator” or “Executive Director” to oversee all operational aspects of the practice; to ensure an efficient, high quality patient care environment along with financial and marketing development in support of practice goals and strategic planning.
Core Duties:
- Work with the practice owners and senior staff to manage a cohesive, high quality multi-sub-specialty practice. Refine and polish operations as needed
- Budget and Performance Forecasting
- Profitability Review and Enhancement
- Ongoing Market Assessment
- Planning and Development
- Directly and indirectly supervise, evaluate and reward/reprimand the work product of all lay staff in the practice
- Human Resources Management
- Practice Project and Action Monitoring
- Clinical and Business Practices Oversight
- Oversight of Compliance Officer, Optical Department, IT services, etc.
- Act in the highest professional manner
- Enhance staff professional and personal development
- Participate actively in patient care
- Maintain professional affiliations and enhance professional growth and development to keep current in the latest trends in clinic administration
Ideal Core Skills:
- Senior executive experience equivalent to Administrator in a similarly scare specialty or multi-specialty medical practice
- Demonstrated ability to co-lead a physician board
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead a staff team and to actively mentor ever-stronger, emerging departmental leaders
- Senior level financial analyst skills
- The ability to communicate directly and clearly, in writing and verbally
- An extreme attention to operational detail and smooth daily operations in a complex and changing environments
- Sensitivity to an increasingly regulate industry
- Proven experience working with associate and mid-level providers
