CFO/Controller – Long Island, NY [CLOSED]


 Well established and large Property Management and Construction company in Great Neck, NY is seeking a full time Controller/CFO to join the team. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or Accounting 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Property Management/Construction setting 
  • Must be expert in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, financial modeling, and analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all general accounting and financial reporting functions including accounts payable/ receivable, fixed assets, and balance sheet management.
  • Prepare monthly statements of income, balance sheets and cash flow of the company.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls and expenses and effectively communicate to other management to identify areas for improvement/action.
  • Assist implementing material costing strategies in the operation.
  • Prepare budgets by establishing schedules, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
  • Achieve budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Provide status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
  • Manage audits.
  • Manage WIP schedules
  • Manage staff of project accountant and data entry
